I don't see why not so long as no copper has ever been used in it and you can escape proof it!!

Our midget octopus lives in an acrylic display tank (with a brick on the lid :lol: a BIG one :lol: )

okay yeah i just did the math for a setup that bug Cha ching never mind ill just build me a 50 or 60 gallon tank and plumb it myself. how thick should the acrylic be? like 1/2 or even an inch? should i heat bond it or silacone bond it?
or even brace it?
and ive got a HUGE wet dry for up to like 500 gallons will that be okey for it? ill be useing it as a sump also and for my little clams and such. and can i cover the pvc with sand and shells so it isnt just white?
