Where can I buy food for a dwarf octopus? Do I need to buy hermit crabs and other small animals specifically listed as being meant to feed an octopus or can I just buy the ones I see at Petco? I live in Michigan if that helps.

I feed my octopus the frozen raw shrimp from Walmart. The great value brand. It is cheap.
I would avoid buying live food at petco. Who knows what the animals in there care have been exposed too.

I ahve has two dwarf octopuses and feed them Fiddler Crabs. I live in California and buy my Fiddler Craps from Northeast Brine Shrimp. I think the source you choose will depend on where you live.
I also buy my fiddler crabs from Northeast Brine Shrimp- they are reputable and the crabs ship well to MA from FL
