Earlier this week we took Ollie's body, frozen and on ice, to Galveston.

We put Ollie in a special canvas bag - canvas, because sailors were buried at sea in canvas. I painted her name and a picture of her on the bag. We also put some shells from Galveston's beaches in with her.

When it was dark, which seemed appropriate, we took her out near the mouth of Galveston Bay and slipped her into the sea.

The next day was sunny and the water was blue and I was glad Ollie was in such a beautiful place.
