You must cycle your tank before putting in a baby bimac. Please read the Equipment List and the Checklist, both under Ceph Care

Good water parameters would look something like this:
salinity 1.026
pH 8.2
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Ammonia 0
It's good to check a new tank and make sure you are 0 for copper, too.
Temperature should be in the lower seventies, or even as low as 65 degrees, but low temperatures are difficult to achieve without a chiller.
