The Lovecraft-inspired scifi rock band Darkest Of The Hillside Thickets has a track on their new album called "A Marine Biologist". Fantastic song, some of the lines read:

"Architeuthis, lean and fast.
Show us your sublime buccal mass.

He’s got a bathyscaphe
He’s a marine biologist
Slid with the squid underneath the waves!"

This is alongside many other Lovecraftian lyrical attacks. So awesome.
