Hi, sorry it’s been awhile!!! Had this baby Bimac for about a month. Really fun personality for such a young octopus! Still have to come up with a name? Any suggestions? First pics are her eating a piece of shrimp. Lol. Thanks Tom

Before I decided to go warm water because a chiller is just too much of an issue in my setup, I had planned on keeping a Bimac. Since I'm in CA and it's a CA octopus I was going to give it something distinctly Californian. I was thinking something political like Reagan, Arnold, or Newsom or perhaps a CA city like Blythe, Carson, Indio, Lodi, Norco, Ojai, etc.

Congratulations on your new friend! What a beautiful octopus. Do you know if it’s a boy or girl? That always helps me with naming...

Very good!! This one seems to be staying on the smaller but he is still pretty young! Very interactive which is cool!! Thanks

Thanks for sharing the pics. She looks like a lot of fun. The holey ball looks like a hit. I laughed for a long time at the one with her riding the ball upside down. I am not in a position to keep one, so i must live vicariously through those of you who can. Thanks for sharing your girl with us. I'm still trying to come up with a suitable name, not much luck so far.

Congratulations!! I am very excited and happy for you both He(?) looks wonderful and i love your tank . I am so looking forward to more glimpses of your baby. It's gotta be difficult coming up with a good octo-name, at least you don't have to worry about if they will or won't respond to it. But, i am pretty sure that would make it all even better. You are sure it's a he?? I think i would name him Spot, but that's just me being goofy. Congrats again, it's got to be so very exciting!
