We put a zip tie around a plastic floating ice cube and a shrimp on the end of the tie to keep SueNami from causing a Tsunami in her aquarium. She captured the ice cube and spent over an hour trying to remove the tie (and eventually succeeded).
The zip tie and ice cube are plastic (the ice cube is not cold ) so I was only mildly concerned that she might try to eat the tie or the cube (note the cube is NOT at the center of the webbing). Her main objective, for whatever reason was to remove the tie from the cube. Once she accomplished that, she lost interest in both objects. There are a few still photos in her journal.
