Dude,
Do you live near a public aquarium? I am not sure how old you are, but maybe you could volunteer in the husbandry department (where they care for the animals) and get to spend time with the animals without having to worry about caring for them. You would get lots of experience and probably really enjoy it.

Well, when you are 16 you may be able to volunteer at an aquarium. Are there any public aquariums near you?
