I wasn't eaten, friends and relatives were grand, good ale is very good, daffodils are up, wrens are singing. It's really spring! No wonder your friend is going, WK. Meanwhile, the same ice is on the ground here in NYC as when I left.

Phil has already posted some glorious squid pics from the Natural History Museum, and I'll get Walt Kelly's octopoggle up later this week.
