Hey Tonmo-ers
Over hear in the Pacific Northwest, we've been having some strange, new visitors. I've been reading in the Seattle Times about the Humboldt Squid suddenly showing up around here. The first article I found said that some fisherman near Sitka, Alaska brought up some Humboldt Squid in a dip net on September 18th. Since then, more have been showing up. They're washing up on the coast in Long Beach, Washington (beach-residents are starting to use them as bait as well).
What could be causing this?

CNN had a great bit documentary about the shift in global currents over the past 20 years, and how it is continuing...global warming is hitting us all...if you check out National Geographic, there is almost a full issue devoted to it. Depressing, really.
