I see conflicting posts about them! Some sites say they’re only in Southern California and some say they come all the way up to Oregon/Washington… I’m asking because I would love to take a trip to the coast (about an hour or so above sf) to find a young one and return it to the ocean after a few months. It would make me feel better about keeping one. But I don’t want to spend lots of time and gas looking if they’re not around here… :frown: we are almost 3 hours to the coast. I haven’t been yet and I’m dying to go!
