How much should an O. Merc be eating?

Just want to make sure I have enough offerings in the tank for him. So far he's been eating a hermit every other night, but last night was an off night, and on a whim I tried to get him to take frozen mysids again, and he scoffed down three offerings until blowing back the fourth

They won't over eat, correct?

I haven't heard of anyones octopus over-eating, but the more they eat, the faster they grow. The faster they grow, the sooner they die.

Your feeding schedule sounds fine.
