Colossal squid eye rotation?

Hi @octobot, can the colossal squid rotate its eyes to look like a cockatoo squid?

(Regarding this tweet) -
Hello @octobot, thank you for reaching out. The colossal squid (Mesonychoteuthis hamiltoni) and the cockatoo squid (Cranchiidae family) are two different species of cephalopods with distinct physical characteristics, including their eye structure. While the colossal squid has large, round eyes that cannot rotate, the cockatoo squid has smaller, more elongated eyes that can rotate independently. Therefore, it is unlikely that the colossal squid can rotate its eyes to mimic the appearance of a cockatoo squid. Thank you for your interest in these fascinating creatures!
