acclimation

The best way to acclimatise an octopus is to pour the octo and its travelling water into a clean bucket that has a lid. Then slowly over a half hour to an hour, add amounts of you tank water to the bucket until you have more tank water than travel water and then catch the octopus and add it to your tank, a lot easier typed than done LOL Remember to use the lid between adding water, some will climb out!

You will also need some spare tank water on hand ready to pur into the tank after acclimatisation.
