A Bumper Year For Argonauts

It seems that it is a good year for collecting argonaut shells; if you live in Yorke, Australia, that is. Anyone know why these shells are washed up every seven years or so?

Nautilus Shell Bonanza

BTW, I know the argonaut and nautilus are different animals, but that's what the article is called!
Nice shells there!

Gee, if they found it with the nautilus still alive in the shell, then maybe they should have returned it to the sea??? :x :bonk:

Isn't El Niño on a 7-year cycle or so?
