OK, this thread is way cool..! I absolutely love architeuthis, that animal is so ugly and so beautiful at the same time. Most facinating creature on Gods Green Earth
Gotta love squid..!

Hey Tony!

thanks for the update. It's been awhile since I've been able to pop in but I knew you guys would have something to say about discovery's latest. What's killing me is that all I can ever find are mere clips of the overall footage and even if all I was watching was archi just sitting there munching away for minutes on end it would be enough for me.

Any idea if the rest will be available anytime soon?

*Sigh*

...yes,..clips,..and regretably that's all we get to see for now.

I saw the show on discovery and that gave me more of a taste but i KNOW that SURELY there was more than what they aired.

I guess the general public wouldn't consider it dramatic enough if all archi was doing was sitting there peacefully rasping away at his lunch but I don't care...I'm dying to see the uncut footage!

Thanks though,Whatley,..the link you provided couldn't hurt.

Well, this is interesting. This beastie was filmed off Japan somewhere in January 2015. It looks distinctly un-alive to me though.

Now this is also interesting because it appears to show an Architeuthis in Jan 2014 alive.
