I just converted my 44 gallon acropora reef into a octopus tank. Still debating on what species to get, but im in favor of the blue ring. Anything I should know other then not to get bit
I would rethink on the Blue Ring....There is quite a bit written up here on this species. How bout a bimaculotis? They are known as the labrador of the ceph world...Very engaging and, if they bite you, it's not fatal!!!
to Tonmo !!!
Blue rings are one of those octos that burn people out of ceph keeping...they aren't as pretty as the pics you see (when they are startled, which is the last thing you want in a captive octo), and they die shortly...you would be much, much happier with a bimac or somesuch...just my advice.
