This would be a nice sized tank for a smaller species, but I wouldn't put a bimac in it. This tank has the same footprint (will fit on the same stand) as a 30 long or a 45 (I own all three!)
I was actually looking to use it for an s. bandesis but I already have a 40 gallon tank that I got for free and though this one was a little bigger...... ah well
