the majority of shore crabs are scavengers, so small bits of chopped up fish etc..........but be sure to clean their tank regularly as they are messy eaters. This tank will need a lid too. Many shore crabs are remarkably athletic!
I keep a 15 gal of locally caught crabs/snails and I feed saltwater flake food, frozen prawn/brine shrimp. All I have running the tank is a bubble filter with carbon in the filter. Very simple!
