Monterey Bay Aquarium has a nice little print out form for seafood to buy and which to avoid because of overfishing. It does relate to the US west coast only but it can apply around the world for some species.

I belong to an online environmental group called Care2 and they have an action a day all can do and todays was this seafood guide to visit.
