Im trying to write a 20 line poem about octopuses. Here's what I have so far:


It lives beneath the sea,
And stalks its prey magnificently,
Its able to cloak itself in colors,
And jet away from predators,
To live another day.

With 3 hearts to pump blood,
8 arms to help move,
A rectanglular pupil and a complex eye,
A beak to crush food,


Any ideas?

I'd like to help, but all my poems just end up as cloying odes to Tintenfisch and such.

Ok here goes again:

The Octopus

It has the intelligence of a child,
Some say of a 3 year old,
Able to go through mazes,
With its super mollusk smarts,
To conquer most anything.
