And from the Hidden Ocean expedition:

Cephalopods in the Canada Basin, Arctic Ocean

Here is the full Press Release (pdf reader required):

Census of marine life explorers surprised by density, diversity of Arctic creatures: matching effort announced for the Antarctic

Reading the press release, it appears that the squid and octopus were not new to science but not known from that area of the Canadian basin. They appear to have been "BoreoAtlantic Armhook Squid", Gonatus fabricii, and the finned octopod Cirroteuthis muelleri.

Fascinating! Thanks Tony.
