Hi everyone,
I found this couple last week snorkeling in Sanur-Bali-Indonesia. I have never seen this kind of Octopus and to me they look most like Mototi, but I did not notice any blue rings.
They swam both holding arms at all times through the seagrass in shallow water (1,5m.) at sunset.
head/body was around 7 cm, and with arms stretched they measured roughly 40 cm.
They changed their camouflage from white/black/brown/beige striped to mottled grey often, depending on if they were in between the seagrass and coral/sandy areas.
