ahab pictures! from outside the tank....

pretty sure hes a briareus no doubt about it... he came in and was all stretched out with the webbing between the legs and green and blue irredecent. now he stays purple with blue spots... also he came from florida so that narrows it down to just a few species his size anyway and all the other large species are noticably different from a briareus

Nice pics! You're probaby right about the species ID - that looks like a briareus eye. But whatever, you have an octopus again! So welcome to ahab.

y thank you

now he closes the doors to his den during the day and hides but he is picking off every fiddler crab i put in during the night. hopefully hell start coming out during the day more...
