Why so mnay cuttles now available?

Just curious as to why there are now so many dwarf cuttles available now? It seems like just about everyone can get a hold of some.
 
In the TONMO community, I think it's largely because Thales, Paradox, and Shipposhack, and earlier Cuttlegirl, have gotten good at reliably breeding and raising them. There does seem to be some evidence that they're being collected more in the wild, too... I'm not sure if this is something to worry about, actually.
