Unfortunately, O. bimaculoides is almost never found for sale as they are primarily located off the coast of California. State law prohibits the sale of the live animal. It is legal to catch one with a license, keep it in an aquarium (or eat it) and it appears to be legal to give it away but it cannot be sold live.
On a rare occasion, we see lab animals produce offspring that cannot be raised so they are offered to the public.
