hi, I live in an area where we don't have city water but we have well water (which doesn't have all of the chemicals in it). Would that water be okay for an octopus without RO/DI WATER?
Unfortunately, probably not. Well water may not have added chemicals, but it can have a lot of minerals and maybe other things. It would have to be thoroughly tested. Over the years, I've heard of only one person whose local water was pure enough to use in a tank.
