Recent updates:

• renamed Member Papers, Articles and Published Research to Papers, Articles and Published Research, as @octobot will now post there whenever a ceph paper is published (regardless if it was authored by a TONMO member)
• Member profile information is now "sticky" in the desktop experience (follows you down the post as you scroll)

As part of our focus on continual improvement, the Ceph News forum is now available to ALL registered TONMO members. This means that when they are logged in, registered members:

- enjoy an ad-free experience (except for those from our direct sponsors)

- can access the latest Ceph News fetched by @octobot (and vetted / categorized by me). More information about Ceph News can be found here.

- Ceph News will occasionally be highlighted on our homepage as Featured content, along with other forum content of particular note

Becoming a Supporter continues to be appreciated, and other emerging features will be considered for this user group specifically -- more to come!

As we approach our 25th anniversary (!), I'm happy to announce I am eliminating all 3rd party ads for all experiences on TONMO (Supporters, Sponsors, Members, and now, even Guests). This will lead to better experiences, better site performance, and avoidance of repulsive 3rd party advertising which NOBODY wants.

It's been a while since I re-upped, so I'm back in 25 years. wow. IIRC, I originally found this place while looking for little squid and octopus icons 20 years ago.

TONMO is partnering with an innovative AI startup to beta-test an exclusive cephalopod AI system based on TONMO's forum and article content. This platform will not only allow TONMO members to enjoy private AI conversations about all things ceph (and ONLY about cephs), but it will also be available for other cephalopod creators and authors to stand up their OWN closed AI instances infused with their own content (ultimately).
