The problem with calling this a "garden" and referencing the Beatles song is that the true origin of the song is in reference to the fact that octopuses build dens out of coral and shells, akin to a garden. (Ringo was on Peter Sellers' boat, high on pot, and the captain told them about this behavior and Ringo was inspired to write the song, which John and Paul helped put music to). So you have the octopus' garden, which is a fascinating thing in itself, and then you have the "garden of octopuses" as referenced in this article -- i.e., living in groups.
