Curation of the Paleozoic inverbebrate fossil collection, transferred from the New Mexico Bureau of Mines and Mineral Resources at Soccoro NM to the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science in Albuquerque, NM, is nearing completion. Included are many nautiloid cephalopod specimens from various parts of North America, especially from the Southwest, collected by Dr Rousseau Flower when he was alive. The Collection contains numerous type specimens described and named by Rousseau Flower in various publications.

:welcome: to TONMO Nauti-guy,

I have all of the papers done by Dr. Flower on the nautiloids from the SW, especially those dealing with the Ibex area of WC Utah (they were all on sale a few years back). To bad he didnt have time to finish all the work he had to do on the (probably) immense collection of fossils he acquired over the years. I would love to come down and see his collection some time.

:welcome: to TONMO, sounds like quite a collection....
