This news saddens me so much. Nancy was a true inspiration. I visited her several years ago in Florida and she would have been in her mid-eighties. Her collection was on the fourth floor of the building and their was no elevator. I remember he nimbly dashing up the four flights of stairs while I struggled in the Miami heat. I enjoyed talking to her about glass squid and looking at some of the specimens she had amassed over the years, some of which I refer to in my own work. She and I were supposed to be naming a new species together; however, I will gladly name it in memory of the amazing contributions Nancy Voss made to cephalopod systematics. She was truly legendary.
