RIP Little Pod

[Nancy]

Little Pod died during the night.

I had tested the water the day before and all was fine. I noticed a black area under the skin of her mantle, about 1/2 inch wide, but have no idea what that was.

She was such a beautiful little octopus and we're sad she's gone.

Most bizarre Nancy; to appear suddenly after so long, only to pass away. Things like this just aren't fair!

No way to get used to it, either...when you take good care of something, and it just kicks off for no reason...bummer.
