Hello cephalopod friends!
It seems I’ve fallen off (back on?) the cephalopod wagon again and have acquired a small (golf ball-sized) octopus. No info available as to locality, but I can offer a few observations in addition to some photos/videos. Seems to be active both day and night. Has a stripe running through each eye, as well as a pronounced “horn” above. Ground color is usually mottled brown but frequently turns goldish, and the skin lining the suckers is often purplish. Arms are extremely long compared to rest of body. No ocelli, but sometimes displays a dark dorsal stripe (see second video)

Thanks guys! Good to be back.
