Some venoms can be counteracted by exposure to extreme temperatures...unfortunately, so extreme so as to cause tissue damage...not really a viable option! Antivenin research has proved inconclusive, and not really worth pursuing, due to the rapid onset of severe symptoms and general scarcity of bite events. Best bet is just to pay attention and be careful...you only get bitten when you are not!
