Back on the topic of the Lego Squid (who I've dubbed "Leggy"), the Toy Fansite Altered States Mag, has posted pictutres from New York's Toyfair, showing all major brands' products for this year, in the Lego showroom two designer sets: Deep Sea Predators and Prehistoric, are shown next to each other, as it turns out, Leggy only has two arms, but, Ta-Da! He has a beak! jut look at the picture in the link below!
It never said it was specifically an Architeuthis, and the model designers probably didn't want to give it wiggly, useless tube arms and sacrificed anatomical acurracy for play-value, they gave it two poseable arms instead of eight limp worms.
