Hi all,

Been a member of UR for a long time, now have a big reef and a cuttle tank.

3 adult flamboyants with now over 50 eggs and 1 hatchling.

Joined the forum to ask for any advice on rearing babies and to see if anyone wanted some babies (i cannot keep 50 no matter how much i want to spend my life breeding live food and turning my house into a fish tank!)

Appreciate any advice.

Herbie978 on instagram for photos!

Noticed some available online, thought about pulling the trigger.

You may want to get an order of live mysis shrimp on the standby to feed hatchlings. I've been out of the game for quite some time but I had some success with sepia bandensis using mysis and amphipods. The juveniles will potentially eat each other if they get hungry enough.

How much would you want for eggs?

I have an order of river shrimp on standing order through LFS, off to sort mysis / brine today.
If you want eggs not a lot (have varies stages of eggs at this point) - where are you based?

I didn't even consider logistics until after I'd posted.

I'm in Texas. Probably be a pretty long, rough trip.

Thought i'd add a few photos.

Adult on the rockwork
2nd Hatchling
First breeder has a coconut half with the most mature batch of eggs
second has the two hatchlings in it - amazing how small they are see if you can spot them!

Hey there Herber,

I'm new here but I actually found this site as I would love to get some cuttles. I've got one currently (had one survive babyhood out of 4) and I would love to get some flamboyant younglings. I'm in Southern California so shipping wouldnt be out of the question. Let me know if you have any juveniles available!
