Saltwaterfish.com has what they call ‘common brown’ octopuses. Has anyone bought one before? Clearly they have no idea what species they are. I asked them what size they get to be and they said around twelve inch arm span, so not commons (I had been wondering if they’d just added the word ‘brown’).
Thank you for your help!

Here is search feature for saltwaterfish.com. There are lots of references and experiences to review. Do note that they are using images from the web and not their own photos. The brown Pacific is marginatus and it will NOT be the animal you receive. The "zebra" image is Wunderpus photogenicus (not a recommended species for ecological and longevity reasons) and not chierchiae.
