yep, as people said... an octo would die!

worse than that it would surely be an agonising horrible death if put into freshwater!!!
 
even little bimacs can tolerate a little change in salinity as they are a tidal mud flat species as could any animal from that area or from rock pools but I'd still aim for full strength sea water :smile:
