I can’t make specific recommendations for macro algae species that would be good for your system because my only experience is with tropical and cold water (80°f and 50°f)
But I will say that my red octos seem to really like having seaweeds. One even liked to pop the pneumatocysts on bull kelp. It was a bit like a kid popping their balloon. He always seemed so disappointed after it popped.
He also often would sit in the algae and use it to camouflage with.
To grow macro algaes you will want really strong lighting. I run reef tank quality lights with strong leds.
