My first graduate school presentation coming up next week in my marine biology class. Hope to make some sense talking about the octopus’s “distributed brain” system. Keeping my fingers crossed.
that's so great!! Congratulations! The presentation, via ZOOM, went very well last night. I was even able to answer all the post-questions, thanks to all of you who recommended basic octopussian books to me. Thanks.
Yes. Had to conduct the class via a ZOOM meeting. Took me awhile to figure out how to share the visuals on one screen while giving the live audio presentation in another window, but all went well.Glad it went well for you. So was this an online presentation?

Here's the pdf of my Power Point presentation of the twelve-minute talk. Please bear in mind that: 1) the target audience was a group not expected to know an octopus from an octagon, and 2) you do not get the benefit of my powerful and gripping narrative, just the outline on the slides.great idea, D!
Lots of good questions AND a good grade,This is great! I'm sure your class enjoyed the presentation.
