Crinoid Sepia

Massimo's description in the website is pretty complete as far as I know. I don't think anyone has published anything about this animal. Apparently someone had been able to ID it and found that it wasn't actually a new species, but I don;t know the status of the redescription. I doubt they've been raised.

S. Bandensis are very similar except the Crinoids lack iridophores on the base of their skirt and have less patternings on the back of the cuttle. There really is no reason to search these out as they are very similar to the semi-available S. Bandensis. It is likely that dwarf cuttles collected from Sulawesi are this species.
