There’s just one thing we should let you know. If you look carefully at the Youtube clip, you can see some white markings on several of his legs where he was damaged in a lobster pot. We’ll look after him at the Bait House until his wounds have healed and then he’ll be returned to the Taputeranga Marine Reserve. You, as his adoptive parent, will be the person who has the honour of releasing him back into the ocean. We predict that these wounds will take at least two months to heal.
